Companies selling software through the internet should display their general terms and conditions (“Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen” in German) on their marketing website. This has several advantages. Contracts can be standardized through the general terms and conditions, as these are always identical.Furthermore, it shows transparency and can create trust with future customers or prospects. Both are highly important factors to succeed on the German market(s).

German and French language
To successfully sell Software in local markets like France or Germany and/or Austria and Switzerland or the german speaking markets, it is a must to provide all related information on a marketing website in proper high german (and not using Google translate).
